all kinds of good things about yesterday…
dividing my sermon into two parts made for a better sermon…and way better study this coming week.
james’ letter is really starting to heat up.
if you have to miss a sunday, read the leter five times during the week and you’ll stay connected.
it was great to see dick and phyllis stearns! it is awesome to have people who move away, but who will still be part of the np family forever…
i knew we were going to have a lot of people gone because of graduation weekend, but it sure didn’t seem like it in the building yesterday. we had two great services!
the music was powerful. the opening song, “yahweh”, rocks. we need to keep working on it.
great flow between the music and the text of the sermon.
sometimes, the fellowship is so good, i don’t want to mess it up by starting the service…
don’t take me wrong on this…i’m tired of giving bon voyage announcements…not because i’m tired of bon voyage, but because i wish we didn’t have to give announcements at all when we get together on sunday mornings.
speaking of bon voyage, though…i am as excited about this week of children’s ministry as i have ever been. keep praying that god will bless this whole week.
went to the mighty “bueno” for lunch and had it confirmed, once again, that bueno is the best fast foot establishment around. and to make it even better, they had cut their prices on muchacos and crunchy potato burritos. geez, how could the day get any better?
graduation parties are way better than graduations.
it was good to have a quiet night at home last night…a great way to finish a great day.
have a good week.
