here were my top five food items from the farracrib dining table this thanksgiving…
5. cranberry whip – it’s a holiday staple at the farra house…a mixture of fresh cranberries, sliced red grapes, crushed pineapple, chopped pecans, and whipped cream. we ran out of pecans, so chris made a quick trip to the ghetto walmart. the only thing he could find were honey-glazed pecans. it made a great dish…amazing.

4. rob’s mom’s parker house refrigerator rolls – got this recipe a few days ago while wanda was watching an episode of good morning texas. simple recipe. incredible dinner rolls. can’t wait for leftover mini-sandwiches this week.

3. smoked turkey breast – all i gotta say is i’m really getting into this whole smoking meat thing. my first attempt at smoking a turkey breast was easy and the payoff was huge…and the seven-pound bone-in breast only took a couple of hours!

2. toll house pie – definitely my favorite that wanda makes. it’s like a huge, hot, chocolate chip cookie…with double the chocolate. definitely an anti-depressant!

1. wanda’s baked mashed potatoes – always my favorite food of the holidays. filled with cream cheese, sour cream and butter…topped with turkey gravy. mmmmm….

…so what we’re some of your favorites from the big meal?
