Game time!

it’s sunday morning, about nine.  there’s about an hour to go until the first service starts.  i know this isn’t necessarily the most important part of a person’s week…or is it?  just how important is worshipping together with body of christ?  is it really something that god doesn’t want us to miss?  i hope so.

i find myself praying that the spirit of god will work on people’s hearts right now.  i pray that the holy spirit will convict people right where they’re sitting (or laying) right now.  i pray that the presence of god will haunt people and move them to join us.  

maybe its people who are driving down the street.  maybe people who you have invited during the week.  maybe people who are disconnected from this body…who need to come back.  maybe people who are just lazy.  whoever.

if i believe so strongly in what we do here at north point on sunday mornings that i pour myself into it all week long, maybe it will be worth it for others also.
